DB BOX

A distribution board (also known as panelboard, breaker panel, electric panel, DB board or DB box) is a component of an electricity supply system that divides an electrical power feed into subsidiary circuits while providing a protective fuse or circuit breaker for each circuit in a common enclosure. Distribution boards are also know as panelboards. A distribution board consists of one or more switches and fuses. Distribution boards can be mounted inside equipment room cabinets or supplied by conduit installation.

It divides an electrical power feed into subsidiary circuits while providing a protective fuse or circuit breaker for each circuit in one enclosure. A distribution board is also sometimes called a DB box. In a wire center, this is generally where cable (or cord) comes in to be terminated at one end and connected at the other. The wire center has one-service screwdrivers and holders for extra screws.

By dividing the power feed into subsidiary circuits and having a protective fuse or circuit breaker for each circuit, a distribution board can protect your equipment from an electrical fault. It is a component of an electricity supply system that divides an electric power feed into subsidiary circuits while providing a protective fuse or circuit breaker for each circuit in a common enclosure.

DB BOX is a collection of electrical equipment and accessories that are utilized in many industries including industrial, automotive, marine and residential. The main function of a DB is to protect the circuit from faults and overloads by using devices known as fuses or circuit breakers that open automatically if the current goes above a certain value or pressure in the circuit.
